Parental Guidance

What is Parental Guidance?

Parental support or guidance is a specialised type of counselling hosted by a clinical psychologist that is designed to help parents navigate challenges and enhance family dynamics.

These consultations have a duration of 50 minutes (€135) and are held online exclusively. They are held with the parents alone, or they can be part of the child or adolescent therapy process.

How Parental Guidance can help?

This service is a way of providing Psychoeducation for parents of their child's developmental stage and helps implement strategies for managing behaviours, special needs, learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, ADHD, Autism and more. This service educates and supports parents & families during periods of transition, and helps maintain stability and unity for the whole family.

Additionally, parental support offers a safe space for parents to address their own emotional struggles and mental health concerns, empowering them to prioritise their well-being while fostering a positive family environment.

These consultations are held online only and hosted by our clinical and applied psychologists.
