All appointments are carried out by our Clinical Psychologists- Payment Plans Available How to book online - please select 'Book Now' above then select an available appointment from the calendar then continue through steps to checkout. For payment plans please go back to the 'Our Services' page and complete the booking for the 'Psychology' service by selecting the Doctor marked for assessments- This booking will count as the first instalment. A member of the BetterCare™ team will be in contact to arrange convenient financial terms & conditions or contact us. What to expect? To Start- 50 minute Clinical Assessment €135 (gets deducted from total) This is a consultation with the Doctor to evaluate and determine what presenting issues need to be assessed for & the client's abilities or disabilities displayed. (Requires Parental/Guardian Participation). Next- You will receive comprehensive screening forms to collect the client's detailed developmental history. Next-Return these forms to us for interpretation & analysis to determine the degree to which official scientific criteria are met. Next-School reports in collaboration with education providers, visitation and evaluation ( only where required e.g. for requesting a special needs assistant ) to assess the child's need for academic aid. Next-Thorough investigation and further analysis of collected data - this process can take between 2-6 weeks for scoring, interpretation & report writing. Next-You will receive the doctors full psychological report by registered post. You can provide this report to other health/educational institutions for grants/aids where applicable. It is important to note there is no one-for-all assessment, each case is as varied as the child/client, assessments are comprehensive and tailored to the needs of the client. It is also important to manage expectations during this time- please consider that the process and results can cause mixed emotions and can have both negative and positive outcomes. Parents & Guardians where possible please avail of our Counselling or Psychotherapy services to help manage stress and emotions during this challenging time.

Cancellation Policy

- Take care when booking Assessments online- All fees paid are NOT REFUNDABLE due to the time & resources required for preparation. - Choose your appointment date and time carefully - Rescheduling is available at no extra cost (where scheduling allows) - BetterCare™ reserves the right to make amendments to scheduling in advance where necessary. - If opting in to a payment plan, all fees must be paid before release of any reports.
